Your Responsibilities
As a baggage handler at Schiphol Airport, you'll be at the heart of our airport operations. Your day-to-day tasks will involve loading and unloading baggage to and from aircraft, operating sophisticated baggage transport systems, and meticulously scanning and sorting luggage. You'll need to handle special items, such as strollers or sports equipment, with extra care and attention. Working as part of a close-knit team, you'll collaborate effectively to ensure aircraft departures stay on schedule. Your role is crucial in maintaining the smooth flow of passenger belongings throughout their journey.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum age: 18 years
- Valid driver's license (Category B)
- Minimum 8 years of residence in the European Union (for Schiphol security clearance)
- Excellent physical condition
- Dutch language proficiency; English is a plus
- Strong teamwork skills
